The Art of Pressed Flowers and Leaves, Batsford, 2019.
I am very proud to have had the opportunity to write a book, published by Batsford in 2019.
The Art of Pressed Flowers and Leaves is an extensive study of my years of art practice, working with natural materials from woods and gardens
It also is a guide to pressing flowers and leaves, with easy to follow projects to help you create your own botanical works of art.
There is also a plant directory which allows you to see what various plants look like when pressed.
It is available to buy from Waterstones or from your local independent bookshop.
Series of artworks using flowers and leaves collected from my studio garden.
Selection of work created for Spring Fling
Series created using materials collected from Threave Gardens, a National Trust property and estate in Kirkudbrightshire.
Leafworks created for the Frost & Fire exhibition and mixed media pieces - working with leaves lichens and watercolour.

Catchment β Gracefield Arts Centre β DumfriesNovember 2013
A collaboration where five local artists individually respond to the River Urr, and itβs landscape, in Galloway.
I was invited to participate in this year long project β and have created an exciting body of new work inspired by the River Urr, exploring the themes of flow and movement.
Leafwork created with materials picked on the Isle of Harris.
